Mansfield City Schools Calendar 2026-2027

Mansfield City Schools combines one standard age-banded route with two longer-span specialty schools. The ordinary sequence begins at Sherman Elementary for preschool through grade two, continues at Malabar Intermediate for grades three through six, moves to Mansfield Middle for grades seven and eight, and concludes at Mansfield Senior High for grades nine through twelve.

Springmill STEM serves kindergarten through grade six, while Spanish Immersion School extends from kindergarten through grade eight. These are not short enrichment periods added to the standard schedule. Students enrolled in either school can remain in a themed environment during years when students on the ordinary route change buildings, so families must distinguish specialty enrollment from the general age-banded assignment.

All three routes eventually reach Mansfield Senior. The district’s structural variety is therefore concentrated before high school: one student may move from Sherman to Malabar to Mansfield Middle, another may remain at Springmill through sixth grade, and another may stay in Spanish Immersion through eighth. The separate experiences converge at one citywide comprehensive high school.
