Northmont City Schools Calendar 2026-2027

Northmont City Schools has an elementary pattern that changes at different points depending on a child’s address. Kleptz Early Learning Center serves kindergarten through grade two, while Northmoor, Northwood, and Union begin with grade two and continue through grade six. Englewood Hills begins with grade three. The overlap means that two children entering kindergarten in the same district may not make their first campus change in the same grade. Preschool is a separate program and is not a universal first step.

The route becomes districtwide after elementary school. All attendance areas feed Northmont Middle School in grades seven and eight, followed by Northmont High School for grades nine through twelve. Those buildings concentrate the district’s secondary courses, activities, arts, athletics, and postsecondary planning in one shared sequence.

Northmont does not operate open enrollment, although it maintains a separate tuition process for some nonresident students. For resident families, the important mapping question is therefore the elementary assignment—especially the grade-two overlap—not the eventual high school. Once a student reaches grade seven, the ordinary next schools are the same throughout the district.
