Olentangy Local School District Calendar 2026-2027

Olentangy Local School District is a rapidly growing Delaware County system with seventeen elementary schools, six middle schools, and four current high schools: Berlin, Liberty, Olentangy, and Orange. Students follow address-based assignments and do not move toward one districtwide secondary campus. Preschool, Olentangy Academy, OASIS, and other specialized settings serve particular needs outside the ordinary feeder count.

Growth makes the attendance map part of the district’s structure, not a minor administrative detail. New neighborhoods and building capacity can lead to boundary changes, and a middle-school assignment does not always explain the full future route without the current feeder information. The map for the relevant school year is the reliable guide; an older sibling’s path or the nearest campus may no longer match current assignments.

Two new schools are already in the construction program but are not part of the 2026–27 operating network. Deer Haven Elementary is scheduled for fall 2027, and High School 5 is scheduled for fall 2028. Their openings will add capacity and require new assignments. Until then, the correct high-school framework remains the four established communities, with the future buildings treated as time-sensitive planning facts, not completed choices.
