Sandusky City Schools Calendar 2026-2027

Sandusky City Schools organizes the ordinary route through districtwide age centers. Sandusky Early Learning Academy serves preschool and kindergarten, Sandusky Primary serves grades one and two, and Sandusky Intermediate serves grades three through six. Grades seven and eight take place at Sandusky Middle School; grades nine through twelve take place at Sandusky High School. The middle and high schools occupy separate buildings on the same Hayes Avenue secondary campus.

This arrangement makes a child’s grade more important than a neighborhood feeder name. Families move through several purpose-specific buildings, but they do not choose among competing ordinary elementary or high-school chains. The Regional Center for Arts and Academic Studies provides a full-day option for identified gifted or emerging students in grades three through six. Sandusky Digital Learning Center and Sandusky Career Center add other secondary choices. Those programs serve eligible students alongside the districtwide PK/K, 1–2, 3–6, 7–8, and 9–12 sequence.
