About Sylvania Schools
Sylvania Schools serves the city of Sylvania and surrounding township areas through seven K–5 elementary schools, three junior highs for grades six through eight, and two comprehensive high schools, Northview and Southview. Unlike an age-center district with one secondary destination, Sylvania retains multiple attendance-based routes through graduation.
Arbor Hills, McCord, and Timberstone form the bridge between the elementary network and the two high-school communities. The three junior highs do not make the district a simple set of three identical pyramids; families need the current boundary information to identify the full elementary, junior-high, and high-school chain. The closest campus is not always the assigned one.
Northview and Southview maintain separate schedules, activities, arts, athletics, and traditions while operating within the same district. Specialized and career programs can broaden a student’s plan, but they do not erase the attendance framework. The important family question extends beyond the elementary assignment to the secondary community that the address ultimately enters.
