Dublin City Schools Calendar 2028-2029

Dublin City Schools crosses parts of Franklin, Delaware, and Union counties and includes portions of Dublin, Columbus, Hilliard, and Upper Arlington. More than 40 percent of students live outside the City of Dublin. A mailing address or municipal name alone cannot reliably identify a child’s school assignment.

The district currently operates a preschool, fifteen elementary schools, five middle schools, three comprehensive high schools, and the specialty Emerald Campus. Coffman, Jerome, and Scioto anchor separate high-school attendance areas, while Emerald Campus draws students into flexible courses, college and career experiences, and programs that can cross those boundaries. The student body speaks more than one hundred languages, making English learner services and multilingual communication part of ordinary district operations.

Growth repeatedly changes building capacity, transportation, and attendance lines. Updated elementary, middle, and high school boundaries have been published for the 2027–28 school year, so those future assignments must remain separate from the schools serving addresses during 2026–27. The district’s locator tools are more dependable than assumptions based on subdivision, postal city, or county.

Dublin’s scale supports advanced study, arts, athletics, career programs, and extensive activities. Its most distinctive structural issue is geographic: several municipalities and three counties sit inside one system whose school boundaries continue to move as enrollment grows.
