About Groveport Madison Local Schools
Groveport Madison serves communities southeast of Columbus through six K–5 elementary schools, three middle schools, and one comprehensive high school. Preschool provides a separate early entry point through peer-model and special-education classrooms, while most students follow an address-based elementary and middle-school route before meeting at Groveport Madison High School.
Career planning begins before that final merger. The district’s Pathways work introduces broad career fields in the middle grades and develops them through high-school courses, credentials, work-based learning, and college options. Juniors and seniors may also use regional programs through Eastland-Fairfield Career & Technical Schools.
Groveport Madison High contains several schedules within one campus. College Credit Plus and advanced courses support accelerated study, while Cruiser Accel combines in-person and online work in a flexible half-day format for eligible sophomores, juniors, and seniors. These choices change a student’s program without replacing the shared high-school community.
