About Strongsville City Schools
Strongsville City Schools serves more than 5,600 students through one preschool, five K–5 elementary schools, one middle school, and one high school. Chapman, Kinsner, Muraski, Surrarrer, and Whitney provide the address-based elementary stage before all students enter Strongsville Middle School. Those local campuses preserve smaller school communities during the first six years.
The middle school was built to replace two older campuses and creates one grades six-through-eight program for the full district. Students then continue together at Strongsville High School, where advanced courses, arts, athletics, clubs, counseling, and postsecondary planning are concentrated in one comprehensive setting. Juniors and seniors can also pursue programs through Polaris Career Center. Technical study may place part of a student’s day at a regional campus, while Strongsville High remains the common academic base and the center of graduation, activities, and districtwide traditions.
