About Winton Woods City School District
At Winton Woods, the school name changes more often than the campus. Preschool and kindergarten are at Early Childhood Central Campus. Grades one and two, three and four, and five and six occupy three separately named schools at South Campus, so a student can move from Primary to Elementary to Intermediate without changing the daily destination.
The first campus move comes after kindergarten, from Central to South. The next arrives in seventh grade, when students enter the middle school at North Campus; the high school is on the same campus. The district describes project-based learning as a PreK–12 academic direction. Its alternative school uses two named programs: Project Success Plus for grades four through eight and Project Success for grades nine through twelve. A student can change schools twice on paper before changing campuses again in seventh grade.
