Little Miami Local Schools Calendar 2026-2027

Little Miami Local Schools places each major grade band in one districtwide school. The Early Childhood Center serves preschool through grade one, Little Miami Primary grades two and three, Little Miami Elementary grades four and five, Little Miami Middle grades six through eight, and Little Miami High grades nine through twelve. Children from different parts of the district begin sharing the same campuses from the start rather than remaining in neighborhood feeder groups.

Students change buildings together after grades one, three, five, and eight. The narrow early-grade bands create more planned moves than a K–5 elementary model, but each school can organize routines, instruction, and student services around a focused developmental stage. Siblings several grades apart may attend different campuses even though both follow the same districtwide progression. At the high school, advanced academics, arts, athletics, clubs, and postsecondary planning are concentrated in one comprehensive program. Residential growth continues to shape capacity and transportation, while the basic age-centered sequence remains in place.
