About Loveland City School District
Loveland City School District serves territory in three counties through six grade-aligned schools. Loveland Early Childhood Center covers preschool and kindergarten, Loveland Primary grades one and two, Loveland Elementary grades three and four, Loveland Intermediate grades five and six, Loveland Middle grades seven and eight, and Loveland High grades nine through twelve. The district does not divide its different geographic sections into separate feeder systems. Students change campuses at regular two-year intervals through the middle grades and advance with a broad cohort formed early in the sequence. The repeated moves allow each school to focus on a narrow age range, while shared district programs carry expectations and services from one building to the next.
Loveland High expands the common experience through advanced study, arts, athletics, activities, and college and career planning. A family may live in a different county from many classmates, but students arrive at the same sequence of schools and graduate from one comprehensive high-school community.
