About Sycamore Community Schools
Sycamore Community Schools serves Blue Ash, Montgomery, Symmes Township, and part of Sycamore Township through four K–4 elementary schools. Students from Blue Ash, Maple Dale, Montgomery, and Symmes enter E.H. Greene Intermediate for grades five and six, Sycamore Junior High for grades seven and eight, and Sycamore High for grades nine through twelve.
Greene is the first districtwide school, bringing children from four municipalities and township areas into one cohort. The shared junior high and high school then concentrate advanced coursework, arts, athletics, activities, and college or career planning.
Aves Academy provides a targeted high-school setting for students whose academic, attendance, medical, or social needs make the traditional environment difficult. It adds a different support structure within a district otherwise organized around one common secondary sequence.
